Research Interests

My research is focused on benthic ecology and aquaculture with most of my efforts going toward integrating these two topics into the management/regulatory framework.

Current Research Projects

• Oyster Stock Assessment - Delaware Bay (State of New Jersey)

• Effects of Aureococcus anophagefferens brown tides in coastal lagoonal systems (NOAA – Ecology of Harmful Algal Blooms [ECOHAB])

• Evaluation of putatively QPX-resistant strains of northern hard clam (Northeast Regional Aquaculture Center)

• Evaluation and genetic analysis of hard clam, Mercenaria mercenaria stock for QPX resistance (Northeast Regional Aquaculture Center)
